Message From Our Founder

Welcome to Miami Web Fest 2018, the "film" festival for web series! This year we have Pitch Fest (creators pitch to TV executives), an Entertainment Law panel, Celebrity Guests, Exclusive Industry Parties, and an unforgettable Awards Ceremony!

We are very excited to have Hollywood director Bobby Roth (Prison Break, Hawaii Five-O, MacGyver) who will give his world-famous masterclass "A Director Prepares", offering filmmakers a unique look into how big-budget TV shows are made and tips for how to excel in the craft.

Finally, as an added bonus, we will open submissions for the 2019 season on February 1st, 2018.  Any submission received between February 1st and April 1st will automatically qualify to compete in the trailer competition by submitting at no charge!

We can’t wait to see you all this year!!  Please email us with your questions to info@miamiwebfest.com

Kind regards,
Bryan Thompson

Precious Cargo

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Precious Cargo is a new comedy about two tutors - sisters Lisa and Sandy - trying to help tiny one-percenters stay on top. Lisa and Sandy couldn’t be more different. Lisa is a type A, super focused actor who takes her day job tutoring the children of Manhattan’s elite very seriously. Sandy is a dreamer, a wanderer, with her hands in a bit of everything: pottery, sitar lessons, capoeira...every day, one passion flames out and a new one replaces it. When Lisa hooks Sandy up with a job at Tomorrow's Child of the Future tutoring company, she expects her to crash and burn. But the tables turn when Sandy is suddenly in high demand for her playful teaching methods, and Lisa’s job is in jeopardy. When you’re dealing with New York’s persnickety rich and famous and their precious cargo, you never know how things will turn out.
